Beyond the Label provides comprehensive educational evaluations and advocacy services for children and adolescents. Services include Gifted Evaluations, ADHD Educational Evaluations, Learning Disability Evaluations (including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia), Intellectual Disability Evaluations, Autism Educational Evaluations, Comprehensive Psychoeducational Evaluations, Behavioral Evaluations, and IEP/504 advocacy and consultation.

Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, I understand that many families have busy schedules, so evening and weekend appointments may be available by request whenever possible.

Beyond the Label is a mobile educational evaluation practice, providing services in a comfortable and convenient setting for families throughout South Florida. Depending on your child's needs, evaluations may take place in the home, at a mutually agreed-upon location, or my office.

Educational evaluations are generally not billed through health insurance. However, eligible families may use approved Step Up for Students scholarships when applicable. If you have questions about payment options, please contact us.

The evaluation process varies depending on your child's needs and the type of assessment being completed. Most evaluations include testing, scoring, report writing, and a feedback session to review the results and recommendations. During your consultation, you'll receive an estimated timeline specific to your child's evaluation.

A school evaluation is conducted by your child's school district to determine eligibility for special education services. An Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) is completed by a qualified evaluator outside the school system and provides an objective assessment of your child's strengths, needs, and educational recommendations. Independent evaluations can offer additional insight and may help families better understand and advocate for their child's educational needs.
